I am having trouble getting The Sims Complete Collection to run correctly on Windows 10. Due to differences between Windows 10 and older Windows operating systems, Windows 10 cannot bypass the SafeDisk copy protection check implemented in the original Sims as a means of preventing piracy. Mods exist to solve this issue by allowing the user to bypass the disc. This has allowed the game to launch, but after the EA logo is displayed I am met with the image below, followed shortly by a crash. I have tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Packs 2 & 3 as administrator but I the result is always the same.
Does anybody know what could be done to fix this issue?
