I downloaded it for free ages ago, and it has always paused for 5-10 seconds every time i try to go into catalogues in the buy/build modes, as well as when I'm browsing hairstyles/clothes when I'm creating sims. I've been given advice from 2 EA advisers through a live chat but neither made any difference. I read this is because of SecuROM being incompatible with Windows 10, I've contacted SecuROM too and their advice didn't work either. I've read many other ways of supposedly fixing this and nothing has made any difference and it's wasted a lot of my time now.
The game has become annoying to play now because I've got an issue that I just can't seem to solve. Please help me, I'd be so grateful! I LOVE Sims 2 and can't afford to get a new laptop without Windows 10 so it'll work.. Thank you!
