Hello. I bought the Simcity Societies Deluxe Edition (I know... old game) and my DVD drive does not even recognize the disc. That is, I can not even install it because the disc is not recognized at all by the PC. It seems to be a very common problem because the game contains an anti-copy system that causes conflicts with several DVD-ROM models.
How can I solve it? Is there a way to ask for a digital download? EA doesn´t even support this game anymore...
The DVD drive works properly as I use it regularly. I also tested the game's DVD disc on a friend´s computer and it worked, therefore it´s aproblem with the anti-piracy protection of the DVD I think.
