Why doesn't Bookworm Deluxe launch anymore?

Bookworm Deluxe suddenly will not launch. The error message says "not responding." I have an iMac.

@cbfield Hi, you may want to start by removing and re-installing the game. This can help to fix any issues with game files if they've been damaged or corrupted.

@WBischer Do you get any error messages? Could you play on this system before? If you've taken any troubleshooting steps please let us know what they are, it'll give us a good idea of how to move forward and find a solution.

I bought this CD in April of this year, and I am CONSTANTLY having trouble with Bookworm Deluxe. I have Windows 10, and it works for a while, then it says files are corrupt. I have uninstalled it, wiped my PC of any trace of it, even removed the CD while I did it. Now it won't open at all. What a waste of $20! And just TRY to get an answer from Popcap! Good luck with that! They have my money, I have a worthless CD!
