To anyone searching through this thread looking for a solution to the Windows 10 issue, I have a solution that bypasses the safedisc issue altogether.

I tried running as admin, changing compatibility settings, and samnunn92's secdrv.sys driver solution, but nothing worked for me.  PM me and I'll hook you up.

i have windows 7 home premium and a disc.  Cant get it to work.  Pls pm, or dm.. or whatever.

Would appreciate any support runboyrun3, have tried everything as well but game wont start in 1.03. Could at least get to the menus in 1.02 with the NO-D patch but still couldnt start any games. Would love to see this game resurrected, it was terrific!

I recently installed SimGolf to enjoy some nostalgia. It does not seem to work for me. The game seems to install fine but will not run.  Used older compatibility modes and i still got nothing.  Is there any solution to this problem? Running Windows 7.
