November 2014 - last edited December 2014 by EA_Nils
(This is copy-pasted from the old forum, but I had wanted to keep this topic in the minds of EA's staff.)
EA still has many games high up on the wishlist that tens of thousands of people would like to see released on GOG.com. Three of your games are in the 10 bestselling titles on the GOG Catalogue, and many more are in the top 100 - despite being on pirate sites for many years. Hopefully that is incentive to continue working with the staff at GOG.

I realize many of these games have legally complex situations (some obvious, some not) or compatibility issues (otherwise they probably would have appeared by now), but I encourage you and GOG.com to continue working together to achieve re-releases. (If CDProjekt brings The Witcher 3 to Origin, can GOGgers get the Command and Conquer games?)
The legally-ambigous titles presumably are these: System Shock has over 30,000 votes combined; Blade Runner has 20,000 votes combined; the Black & White games have 30,000+ votes combined; the Dune games have 30,000+ votes combined; etc.
However, I'd think we could see some of these released on GOG: The Command & Conquer games - 30,000+ votes; American McGee's Alice - 10,000+ votes; SimCity 3000, 5,700+ votes; The Neverhood, 5,000+ votes (I'm requesting on behalf of a fellow GOG member); Mass Effect, 3700+ votes; The Sims 1, nearly 4,500 votes; Dragon Age: Origins (Ultimate Edition), 3500+ votes; etc.
It would be great if the original SimCity - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/sim_city , now freeware - could perhaps be bundled with SimCity 2000 or SimCity 4.

Theme Park World/Sim Theme Park, ~3000 total votes; Sid Meier's Sim Golf, 1600+ votes; Sim Ant, 1500+ votes; Mass Effect 2 (please make it Digital Deluxe), 1300+ votes; Battlefield 1942, 1100+ votes; Mirror's Edge, 1000+ votes; and if possible the classic Need for Speed games like NFS:SE and NFS2:SE, 1000+ votes each.

Freedom Fighters, 1000+ votes; Sid Meier's Gettysburg, 750+ votes; SimCity 2000 Network Edition, 690+ votes; Future Cop: LAPD, 670+ votes; Sim Farm, 580+ votes; Sim Earth, 570+ votes; Alice: Madness Returns, 540+ votes; SimCopter, 530+ votes; Dead Space, 530+ votes; etc.
Hopefully what I've mentioned above is, again, incentive to continue working with GOG to bring back classic games that will end up on both GOG and eventually Origin.

Thanks for the heads up. We are still looking into adding more legacy games to Origin, unfortunately I am not aware of what the current roll out plan is.
Fingers crossed that we get some from the list soon.
Cheers,
Nils

Thank you, but I and other GOG fans would like to see more EA games come to GOG.com, too.

Just mentioning I edited in some other titles and GOG wishlist links.

I would buy Crysis and Crysis Warhead, if they were available on GOG. Or, at least strip SecuRom from the Origin version.
I would also buy/rebuy on GOG other EA games, like Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 1, Command and Conquer games, NFS games etc.
February 2015
That would be very nice if more old games of EA would be made available on GOG!!

I know you guys at EA are trying to push your own platform with the whole Origin stuff, but the reality is that your (especially the old) games belong on sites such as GOG where people who like to play DRM-free games can get them.
With the Sims having now passed its 15th anniversary maybe that and the Command and Conquer series, which is nearly 20 years old, could be released there soon.
