DA:O Dragon Age Origins Story line campaign bug issue dwarf

Hello,

well, I think I found a problem in the storyline for Dwarfs.

It happens in the first quest where you can look around in orzammer for some houres and watch the tourney before you enter the ceremony from your father (the king) for you.

I choose to walk through orzammer first instead of going to the ceromny. In the first area I speak with my brothers and then I go into the tourney where i speak with the master. Then I can watch dwarfs fight and the questbook tells me that I can now go to the ceremony. But I cannot leave the area or speak to someone - No more way to continue the game

 

Anyone knows this bug ?

If I'm following you correctly you spoke to the Proving Master and decided not to fight in the Provings yourself. Now you are unable to speak to the Royal Escort in order to leave the arena.

Is that what is happening?

Hey, YES! exacly what was happening, as a prince I choose not to fight and to look to the fights, the Master said then that the fighters will soon enter and I can look to it. Then after this I still stand there with my 2nd hand and there are 2 guards but not that one dwarf from the royal escort (whitch was speaking to me that he should enter the arena with me and my 2nd hand because the king had told him so). Overall the master is away, the royal guard is not there, only me and the second hand and 2 dwarfs standing there, I cant start a dialogue or use the door.

Your problem sounds familiar, but I'm not sure if I experienced this bug or just a similar one. First thing I'd try is to reload the save and it it's still happening go to a previous save.

I guess it is a Bug in the Story-Dialoge that maybe happen to everyone and I was wondering why I didn't found it in google (I found other Story-Line-Bugs) so it is good to mention it in a Topic. 

I tryed it with a savegame and repeat the dialogs to this point and it this issue still happening (so this easy way to solve it is not working).

Now I just choose an other Story-Line and I just didnt go into the arena and completly skip this part (it is an optional quest) and just go direct to the main-quest (speak with the king).
