I found a lot of threads with that error code and have pulled the below steps out of some of those.

No luck still.

I remember seeing something before about how dead space 2 won't run well with more than 4 cpu cores. Do you think that is the problem I am having with dead space 1 with my 2 intel xeon 8 core processors?
May 2016
With an older game such as this, having too many CPUs is possible but with a PC of that kind of calibre do you really want to disable CPUs to play?
You could try disabling some cores by setting 'CPU affinity':
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del > Start Task Manager > Processes Tab > right click desired program > Set Affinity

Won't let me do it as it auto crashes.

Okay so I have found that this all could be an issue with the most recent Crimson video card drivers.
Please use the following clean uninstall utility to remove your current video drivers:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx
Then download and install the most recent non-Crimson driver set:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=15.12
Obviously we would like you to post your results here, thanks.

Didn't work. That driver you linked me didn't help, plus it was also a crimson driver. They have started this new driver branding of crimson since nov 2015. I went into their legacy section and can't find a non crimson and their it only went up to windows vista.
