Why don't get email to verify or password (if when I need it) [ Edited ]

Basically its been a month, I click on resend verification email 3 times over that period of a month. No it is not in spam, I check that every time. So how can I verify when the email system they use must be out of hamsters or something? There are no error messages, it just doesn't work.

Side note, why am I not able to choose what language the store appears in?
