Okay here's the deal.
Every time a game is patched, or has a new DLC, Origin chokes on the fact that my account isn't the system administrator. There is literally no plausible reason why I should need an administrator for a program to create a temporary folder, and yet every time it happens I'm crippled. In the case of multiplayer games such as Mass Effect 3, this means I wind up unable to play until such a time as an admin gets home.
My admin is willing to help me fix the problem but unwilling to make my account an administrator and let me solve it myself. So I must ask. Is there some sort of Application Compatability settings that will make Origin stop prompting for privileges it shouldn't rationally need?
OS is Windows 7x64bit. User is at wits end. Steam never did this. Ever.
