guys . i bought Burnout paradise but it gives me an error on launch saying "A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (8016)." what should i do? (i have tried origin repair game, nothing)

my pc specs are 

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.5GHz

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Memory: 16384MB RAM

DirectX Version: 12

Chip type: GeForce GTX 970

This is an issue with the new Skylake CPUs. You may be able to resolve this by updating the bios of your mainboard. Check out this linked article here for further information.

Go to Game’s installation folder ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Burnout Paradise.), right click the game setup.exe, go to properties, and change its compatibility to Windows XP SP3. or Windows 7.Make sure to check mark ‘Disable Desktop Composition’ from the compatibility tab.

i have tried all compatibility modes from XP to win 8 and none work. any other ideas?

I have a Skylake CPU and the article you referenced was not helpful at all.  It simply refers me to a ASUS general site.  There are many BIOS upgrades.  The article gives no help as to which BIOs upgrade to choose or how to do a BIOs upgrade.  ASUS support will not help you do BIOs upgrades
