Sims 4 won't install

i have inserted the disc and have installed the origin..the installation of sims 4 paused and has been paused for a few hours and has stopped downloading!..ive tried to take the disc out, closing and starting again but it still says resuming installation. It wont even let me cancel the installation...HELP

Hi, try restarting Origin as an administrator(right-click the icon to get the option), and see if it makes any more progress.

It's also worth checking your anti-virus and firewall software to ensure that Origin isn't being blocked in any way.
