Sims 2 serial number is not valid to register on Origin

I have the old version of Sims 2 which contains 4 discs, but I've lost disc 1 so can't install it. I still have the manual with the serial number, but when I enter it into Redeem Product Code, it says that it is invalid.  What should I do?

Hey, that's because it'll be an old code from the times before Origin. Did you register the game back when you first got it, using the old system?

Anyway, please contact support using the steps below, they can take a closer look and hopefully help you out.

I did redeem it to install the game, but that was before I made an Origin account.

In that case, contact support. They should be able to check the old account and update it so you have the game on Origin.

When is EA Live Chat open? It said that I would get through to a game advisor in 5-10mins but I waited almost an hour and nothing happened.
