I just recently bought the Origin Humble Bundle and went to go launch my Origin client after it being inactive for quite a while. It needed an update which made sense based on the amount of time since I launched it. The update started but then stopped.
Your update could not be completed. Please download and install the latest version of Origin from https://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginS
I did this and it stated that I already had an installation and asked if I wanted to reinstall. I clicked yes. It gets to a 100% then shows up the same error message.
I googled the problem and apparently people(like me who want to install this on a hard drive other than C as the C drive is only 60gb SSD) have had this problem in the past and Origin said they would fix it in the newest version. What I find laughable is it never used to have a problem with my D drive.
I've uninstalled the program using CCleaner and then manually deleted the registry values and program data. Tried installing it again, Same problem. I've tried installing both through the OriginSetup.exe and the OriginThinSetup.exe and neither has helped.
