My sims 4 game is taking more than 6 hours to install

I started to download it but then it stopped and restarted 6 hours later i went to look at it again and it still wasn't done I'm so confused at this point if you know any solutions worth trying I would appreciate

Meanwhile, can you flush your DNS cache files? Restarting your router can also resolve some weird connection issues.

Unfortunately, It all depends on how many mbps/gbps your internet provider gives you. The only thing that will help you is Origin, it has optimized downloads, meaning you can play MOST games when it reaches 25% download, however I'm not sure if it works with the Sims 4 because it requires it all to be downloaded as its a simulation,

You'll just have to wait out the download time, but normally it takes 2 hours less than what it says
