Medal of Honor: Airborne / Cannot run on current OS

Hi

I recently Bought MoH: Airborne but when i go to launch it, it reads

"This application is not compatible with the installed operating system.

Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better." I am using Windows 8.1 and even tried switching

compatibilty modes and don't have either of the two the message suggests. Is there a way to fix this,

or am I just not able to play it in any way?

Actually please make sure that you are not running Origin or the game in any compatibility mode (right click a shortcut for the game/Origin, go into Properties - Compatibility and make sure the 'Run this prog. in comp. mode' is unticked).

Can you try specifically running both Origin and MOHA in Windows 7 compatibility mode, then try again? Be sure to manually restart Origin completely after updating the compatibility mode, too.

i get the same message. i've tried any compatibility mode without succes.
