Mass Effect will not start

I have purchase the Mass Effect Trilogy. It was working. However after doing a format and re-install of Windows 7. The game has been installed from via the download option. 
I click on the the Mass Effect icon. The progress part from Syncing cloud data completes. Then nothing. 

I have tried the options for
- Check for updates

-  Repair install 

Still not working.


PC drivers are installed with the latest version. Please advise on what else I can do to start the game?
