Hi Tom
How do we set it to max i have a 100mag download so i dont want rate limit ,i want to trun it upto 11

Hi,
There is currently no option to change your network settings in Origin. Origin should automatically pick up the correct speed for your connection, assuming it has bandwidth available, and there's nothing blocking the client.
Is that what you were referring to?

Exactly, I have 70mbps download and upload but im only getting 2mbps... doesnt make sense how much they downgrade it.

This could happen because of a temporary server problem.
Apart from this my remarks in this post are still correct.

Could you elaborate on this statement?
I can't see a way how EA could block third party bandwidth limiter.

Can we get this issue un-tagged as solved? I thought I was safe to buy games on Origin until I came into the thread and read the "solution."

@Straatford87 marked his post for visibility only. I think that it is important that other users can see the feedback from an EA Community Manager when they enter the thread.

@holger1405 I've been subscribed to this topic for 9 months waiting for it to be solved. When I get an email notification that a solution has been posted, I have an expectation that a solution has been posted and the Origin update that wants to install includes that solution. Maybe someday, pinned replies and a bandwidth limiter will at least make it on a roadmap whiteboard near the relevant team's idea forest.
