In this recent post, we've explained that we are aware of your desire for this function, and that we are listening to your feedback.

We couldn't give a confirmation earlier, as we did not want to disappoint anyone in case this function got delayed. But good news, it's just been added to the Origin beta update - you can try it out right now:

At the moment, this isn't an option that is available. You might want to try using third party program to limit bandwidth access, I never have (I'm usually picking the "being patient and reading a book" option) so I can't quite recommend one.

It's a pretty good idea of functionality to implement, though, I'll pass the idea on.

It's a very good idea to limit or set the dowload speed ! 

Today in Origin program, this fonction isn't avaible.. It's a pity.

Would love to see some form of this implimented. I tend to play multiplayer games while other games are downloading, weathing it be somthing like BF4 or WoW.
