XBOX One controller acting erratically in this game [ Edited ]

When I use the XBOX One controller, the force feedback acts at random times, sometimes continuing even in the menus. I try to disconnect and reconnect it and the controls are messed up. I tried running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode, but that did not resolve the issue. My older XBOX 360 controller works fine, though. Is there a way to fix this? Or is the XBOX One controller not supported in this game? I'm running Windows 10.

Hi,

Need for Speed Rivals will not support Driving Wheels. The Xbox 360 controller and Keyboard at the only supported input devices for Need for Speed Rivals.
