Keyboard doesn't work after opening the lid

I closed my laptop lid to take a rest during play NFS Rivals.
The keyboard was not responding when open the lid to continue the game.
I set the lid action to "Do nothing" in system settings on my laptop.
My laptop is running Windows 10 build 14393.
So please EA support could give me some answer for this situation.

You probably just had to hold the power button to power off the laptop and then turn it back on, yes?

I can press Alt+Ctrl+Del to close the game, but keyboard can't control the game while this issue occurred.

How to fix the issue?

Do the keys you are pressing in-game work outside of the game?

Disconnect any control peripherals and then reboot, start the game, change the key control setup and test again.

Yes, I could use these control keys when outside of the game.

I changed the key control setup but the issue still occurred.

Check for any available Windows Updates and then retry after installing those.

Thanks, there is nothing obviously at fault in your Dxdiag report.

It may be worthwhile taking a look at your shutdown/sleep/hibernate settings as those options are clearly related to your issue:

My laptop power option setting is OK.

I can reproduce this issue with my friend's laptop.

Is this game's design issue?
