why wont Lexus LFA unlock after I beat him 2 times?

 I beat this car and it got away because of the cops I expect to see it in mirror or sideswipe me, as they USUALLY do,I cant take it down and own the *

Usually that would be the case, but this time I had to race and beat it 4 times in total before it went dark after the race. Black diamond disappeared after I won the race, usually on the rail road tracks when I usually lose him. BUT Good news....I nailed him. and I got the car.  Thanks!

You have to take it down to unlock it. If you don't manage to take it down at the end of the race, you will get opportunities to take it down during freeroam
