The game keeps lagging and freezing in spite of very high specifications

My  laptop has high specifications but my game keeps lagging and freezing.

Specs are as follows:

8GB DDR4 RAM

Nvidia Geforce 940MX 2GB Graphics Card

I just bought this game but can't play because its lagging and freezing. I brought the screen resolution to minimum and changed all other specifications to low but the game won't stop lagging. I even optimized it but it still lags.

Anyone please help me with it.

Can you please test the game while booted in 'clean mode':
