Solution for lagging in NFS Most Wanted 2012

★★★ Newbie

Hi guyz, you can try editing the content of the NFS Most Wanted 2012 config file using note. try using the below settings/configurations. This will help to fix the lagging issue and please avoid editing the Width and Height to Ultra resolution as this will lead to lagging. You can try lower resolutions and it works just fine but in a windowed view. To edit the NFS Most wanted 2012 config. Follow the steps below;

- Go to My Document or Doument

- Then open the folder called Criterion Games

- Then open the NFS Most wanted folder, there you will find a file called config.

- Open the config file using a notepad. There you can modify your settings using either of the 2 samples provided below. I have also attached the config files, so just donwload them and try it out any one of the files.

NOTE: please create a backup of your config file, just in case after modifying your settings and it doesn't work, then you can revert back to your previous settings/configuration.

Windows 10 - play everything on HIGH and have the game on Windows 7 in Compatibility Mode + Run as Administrator (do this for the NFS13.exe in the game folder)
