Multiplayer Update Fix DOES NOT Work

After multiple tries of trying to fix my game and contacting EA I still cannot get the Multiplayer Update 2 on Xbox 360 to work. I've tried the recommended fix, my own fixes, and getting a new disc. But NOTHING has worked. I'm about to give up at this point. All I want is the Multiplayer 2 update so I can buy the DLC and play it, but the game will not recognize the update is even there. So I cannot get the DLC. If anyone can help me out, please, I'll be very thankful. Thank you for your time.
