Yes I believe the files would be in My Documents.

\username\Criterion Games\Need For Speed(TM) Most Wanted

Progress in Most Wanted is stored locally. If you have installed the game on a new computer or otherwise cleaned stuff up, you're probably lacking the files associated with your save.

Where would those files be? I built a new gaming PC and simply transferred my games drive over and all my steam games work fine. Would those saved game files be in the "My documents" folder in the old PC? I can still get those files if need be.
