Cannot connect to EA servers when activating Need for Speed Hot Pursuit

I've installed NFS Hot Pursuit via Origin. When I type my code it gives me a message 'connection failed.Please check your internet connection', while my internet connection is obviously fine. Then I have a choice between 'ok' and 'visit support website'. If I click 'ok' nothing happens and if I click 'support website' I'm redirected on nothing. The message in browser I get is '404 not found'. 

What should I do to play this game? I've recently bought it and it is my first time activation. I've also got it on steam and there is another problem. There I can launch it but no online, while in origin I can't even lanch it.
