Online Pro Does Not Match Offline Pro

When I play online team mode with OTP rules on. My online pro does not seem to match my offline pro. At times, it even loads a completely different pro with the jersey number 15. When it does load my pro, it is not my most current pro. I have confirmed it by changing the sticks and the skates and jersey tuck but my online pro still seems to be an old one. He even feels slower online. Does anyone know how to fix this?
