Line 1 barely playing

I just bought Brandon Saad milestone and put him on my 1st line, when I started playing my first game with him the whole line will only play during each opening face off. I don't know what's wrong, the only way I can play my 1st line is if I do it manually. Is this a problem a lot of people have had or is my HUT just messing with me? Please help!
