NHL coming to Steam is NEVER going to happen. If the NHL series ever returns to PC, it'll be via the Origin platform which is EA's own PC service. 

The NHL series absolutely needs to return to PC and I'll take it anywhere, but there's no way it comes to Steam.

You are right. But it doesn't matter Steam or Origin. Platform is important.

Agreed.. * hate the lack of GOOD sports games on PC. Especially NHL as it is one of my childhood games!

I want a brand new PC NHL as well!

Been a big fan of the series since NHL96 always buying only legit copies of the game (was impossible to find in Russia at the time, but I was able to get those big authentic EA boxes on my trips to Europe XD). So it's really sad to see that my collection ended on NHL'09... I don't want to buy myself a console to play this sole game, so I really hope that EA will consider releasing future NHL titles on PC too. My fav team Penguins just won Stanley Cup, so don't want to waste an opportunity to dissiminate rivals with the great roster they have right now )))
