I have never tried it myself but you could try resetting the network settings from the settings app.

No. From the iOS Settings app. The default one.
I can't remember the exact path but I think it is in "General" -> "Reset" or something like that.

Ok. What iOS version are you on? If you aren't on the latest one (iOS 7.1), then upgrade it and try again.
If you are on the latest one and it still doesn't work,
Make a backup of your phone with iTunes and do a full reset. After that when the phone is still "fresh" and empty, try installing the app again and see if it works then. If it doesn't you can reset again and use the backup you made.
PS: Is your iPhone jailbroken?
