Live the life keeps taking me off

Playing as lupul from leafs in live the life mode and the first game was fine but the next 2 games everytime I skip to my shift I am on the ice for about 5 seconds and then lose control of player and am taken off.

Sometimes I last longer but in the first game I went off when I decided and now Im just taken off and I get no coach comments. It's so frustrating not being able to play.
