Life the life - player attributes taken away

I recently got my goalie to 99 in all attribute categories. Then all of a sudden, i got on the next day and my passing, rebound control, durability and endurance went from 99 to 40 and took my overall from 99 to 86. My goalies isnt injured at all. Not sure if its a bug or not but its extremely dissapointing to work so hard to get your player to 99 in every category then lose it all. I dont even feel like playing the game again!
