Hello,
I just installed simcity 5 today and also Origin. I've completed all updates for the game. When I press "PLAY" after a few seconds a error [3000] message box appears. This error seems to be very rare and I haven't found an answer to it anywhere online.
I've reinstalled both simcity and Origin many times, updated NVIDIA graphics drivers and my system with no luck. The simcity recovery exe does not fix the problem.
System Infomation: LAPTOP
MS Windows XP Professional SP 3
Intel Core2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26 GHZ
3.0 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

Choose your proper language like this "language-en_US.reg" from ur files

This is possibly to do with locale setting on your PC and what you are trying to use in game.
Can you provide the following files
The install log SimCity/__Installer/InstallLog.txt
The update log SimCity/SimCityUserData/Patches/UpdateLog.txt
DxDiag.txt
Also, what language is your Origin client using? (en_US, en_GB fr_FR etc)
