Xbox One not reading Mass Effect 3 discs 1 or 2

Alright, so I bought this Mass Effect 3 disc off Ebay. The guy hasn't replied to me yet, but the problem is whenever I put in disc 1, it doesn't read it and disc 2 gets mistaken for a DVD by the Blu-Ray Player. I've tried contacting Microsoft to see if they could fix it through a power cycle and everything else, and it still doesn't work. ME1 and 2 work just fine, as do my other discs, downloaded just fine, but they were from 2 different sellers. Did I just get a faulty game or am I doing something wrong?

How do the discs look?

I assume you tried to clean the discs?

They're nearly perfect. No scratches and I made sure to clean them spotless. Twice

Well, the disc could still be defect, even if you don't see any damage.

Do you know someone else with an xbox so you could test there?

Did the seller answered you?

He said he'd never had a problem with the disk before and he'd be happy to refund me. I told him I would take it to Gamestop and try it on their in-store console, see if it'll respond then. It honestly makes no sense why ME3 wouldn't work but Me1 and 2 run perfectly.

That's a good idea. And it's good that the seller would refund you.
