Unable to go "Online" with Origin

When I Log In to Origin it's telling me that I am Offline, but when I hit "Go Online" nothing happens.

 

My DSL and Internet connections are fine, I can log into Steam and other sites without a problem so it's either my account or something up with Origin servers.

 

Anyone else having the same issue this today or know what's up?

Not if you have any DLC (free or paid): all of your saved games become unusable.

 

Anyway it doesn't matter now as the Origin Server login fault seems to be fixed now. This thread can be marked as solved.

it happend to me today,Origin suddenly kicked me in middle of wave,and now i can't go online.

I reinstall Origin and tryed again nothing happen,idk what to do also im sick of Origin craps,this problem is one in dozen that happen since i start to play ME3 mp

I'm having this issue as well.

 

Exact same circumstances (I think I was in your game too :P ) where I was on Wave 11 and right before extraction - BANG - dropped off the EA Server and thrown back to the main menu with the game telling me to reconnect. Then when I go Connect to EA I get told I'm in Offline Mode and to go online.

 

Closed Mass Effect 3, checked Origin Application and yep: told again I'm in Offline Mode. I click on Go Online and nothing happens.

 

Troubleshooting tested:

  • Logged out of Origin, then closed the application and opened it again to log in again. No change.
  • Restarted PC, then repeated previous steps: no change.
  • Disabled Enable Cloud Storage For All Games, which had ticked itself automatically without my permission (I hate the Cloud Storage).
  • Deleted Temporary Files off PC, but no change.

 

Spoke briefly with one of the EA Customer Support Advisors (Praveen), who helpfully told me that others have reported this issue too and it might be an EA Server fault, but they're not sure until the specialists get into it.

 

Looks like we're waiting it out for now.

same here, reinstall/reboot tried, no luck I'm buy ME3 JUST 2 HOURS AGO and ALREADY CANT PLAY and there is NO reaction to this problem for more than a hour I'm charging my RAGE-laser

obviously the server is fuctulated... Is there a way to log in off line so I can finish my campaign???

It seems they are having some server related problems. You can check server status on: http://www.origin.com/status. Account & Social are Offline or have Limited Service.
