Mass Effect 3 Crash/Freeze issues on PS3

I don't know what to do anymore! I feel like I've tried everything and it always crashes/freezes to the point it freezes my console so I have to manually turn my PS3 on and off. It always happens right after I create my character or after the long cutscene in the beginning of the game! Please someone help me! I was somehow able to play it through once! I can't remember how! I really love this game and wanna play it again! Any advice? Please!

What is everything?

Did you Power cycle your PS.

Is the disk in good shape?

Did you reinstalled the game?
