Shops: Can I see ONLY missing Upgrades?

Stupid question, sorry:

Can I see in the shops ONLY the Upgrades I don't have? Or can I see all the Upgrades they have?

I really don't understand this Upgrade System from ME2 and so I don't know if I have a Upgrade or not ....... I just want to know: If I find a Upgrade for my Weapon can I buy it or could it be possible that I waste my money on something I have already.

All upgrades stack, so the ones you buy in the shop give you a boost on top the upgrades you find anywhere else. It's never a waste of money.
