Shades of ME A grumble, grumble

I just tried to play ME 2 and experienced the same issue I have with Andromeda......................SHUTDOWN of my computer without warning, Dare I say that I AM NOT HAPPY.  I have logged 300+ hours on this game without any problem, ever since Andromeda I've had nothing but problems.

It is odd you would see an issue in one game since having an issue in another.

Have you upgraded your video card?

Have you upgraded your power supply?

System was built last year, gs700 psu and a Radeon RX 470 Graphics card.

I ran across this it's been here a few days now didn't give it much thought, will have to manually type out seeing it was on pre reboot that it shows up :the instruction at 0x5fb44b00 referenced memory  at 0x00000004 the memory couldn't be read.

click to terminate the program This is an Origin.exe Application error

Preform a clean uninstallation of Origin after this guide. > reboot > install the newest Origin version.

Please create a DxDiag in text file format, also go to your Reliability monitor (Press the windows key and "R" at the same time and copy or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in > ENTER and look if it has ME2 entries.

 If yes double click at the last one, copy it to the clipboard, (Bottom left corner) save it to a text file and load it up together with the DxDiag. You can do that with the "choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

Well I still have a shutdown issue with ME 2 I'll admit and give credit to EA, I'm not as interested in playing games any longer especially when I look at the amount of time and money I've spent to what end.... I can't play my games now that EA has things so screwed up...  Too bad I liked those games and to think I can no longer play them off line either.

The game runs on my and on the majority of other systems without any problems. So the problem is most probably on your specific system.

Its your choice it you want to troubleshoot this or not.

I have logged 800-900 h trouble free hours playing ME, ME 2 and ME 3 with the changes made for Andromeda It has affected the other games. Origin was had an exe error for a few days  and they supposedly fixed that. Origin was logging my hours played on ME A they changed something it quit logging and quit running on my system. This system was built for me last year, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.
