No Mass Effect 2 configuration utility.

Just as the title says, there is no configuration utility when I try to import my ME1 save.

I searched and it doesn't even have the .exe file in the Binaries folder.

I have no clue on what to do. Please help

Re: No Mass Effect 2 configuration utility.

MassEffect2Launcher.exe should be in your ME2 installation folder. From there you can access configuration.

I don't have that file, or any of the files necessary for importing. My Binaries folder is empty.

Re: No Mass Effect 2 configuration utility.

So you can't run Mass Effect 2 at all then?

I can play a new game, just no imported game.

I'm gonna do an uninstall then reinstall, if that doesn't work I'm gonna return it.

I can see your problem then.

You're looking in My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Binaries right?

This is not your installation folder. This is where your personal save games and settings of the game are saved. If your actual binaries folder was empty, you wouldn't be able to run the game since you wouldn't have MassEffect2.exe.

You have to check where you installed the game and look in that folder. You will find MassEffect2Launcher.exe right away.
