Haestrom Bug Door Glitch

★★★ Newbie

Please help.  I'm on haestrom and I just beat 2 geth primes and a whole bunch of Turrets.  I am trying to get through the door right after that area and the green button doesn't appear.

I've tried the clipping thing, but everytime I edit the coalesced.ini file, Mass Effect 2 won't run.

And yes I put the code in the right spot.

And yes I used Notepad++

Can anyone help me?  I don't want to skip this mission for certain reasons.

Hero

Coalesced can get corrupted if you use a text editor. use the coalesced editor instead.

Here's the thread from the Bioware Forum:

Stuck in a wall in ME2

Iron Spine links to the Coalesced Editor thread and in that thread under "ADDITIONAL TOOLS" you'll find a link to the Coalesced Fixer thread.

After making the Coalesced update you may have to use the "ME2IniFixer.exe" before the game will open again.

Just don't pick up the Tempest SMG the two times it appears on the map and you're good
