unable to connect to ea servers

I just bought the trilogy edition and all of the dlc hoping to play through them all again. as soon as I tried to launch the first one I keep getting an error that wont let me connect to EA servers. Ive tried the compatibility mode thing and still wont connect, ran as administrator and still wont connect. Any advice?
