Good evening people,
I have problems for playing ME. I used all the executable files for compatibilty and then when I'm going to run the game, it only appears the main image and it is like the computer would be blocked, it is quite strange because I've done all the steps with the compatibility and the game doesn't work, any idea or solution? Anyone has the same problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi, again, finally I could speak with Technical support and I could resolve the problem. They gave me a copy of the game in Origin. So, thanks for your help but it was a Steam problem.

@Alex_hill480 What Operating System are you on?
Can you try using the product code on Origin and see if that grants you a copy of the game, then see if that one encounters the same issue?
If not, I don't have a whole lot of Steam troubleshooting steps, but you can start by using the "verify integrity of game cache" step

Hi, first of all thanks for anwering me.
I have windows 7 and I've tried with all compatibility steps that appear in Steam and other forums.
I've tried the copy issue in origin but it doesn't allow me to do it and the "verify integrity of game cache" step is correct. Do you know what problem could be? I'm really desperated because I don't find any solution.

Generally this issue is resolved by running in XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode specifically, but if you've tried this, the core of the issue might be a different one.
Can you try launching the masseffect.exe from within the binaries folder as an administrator too?

Hi again!
I've tried all the compatibilities modes but nothing, the other issue too, running from the binaries folder. If you think it could be other issue. The problem is that it doesn't appear any error message or something. Do you know if I could contact with the official support, maybe the technical support more specialised in these issues?.
