That little top 2% part of a DxDiag report is inadequate to try to use for problem solving.  Read this:

P. S.  For anyone running Windows7 or Windows8: the unpatched game cannot start in those OS versions; you must obtain and apply the patch before trying to do anything in the game when you use those OSes (the game is quite old now).

It would help if I can see the Graphics Card. At the moment I'm guessing it is a Intel GMA card.

Its complicated getting the game to work with Windows 7 yet alone Windows 8.

Good Day,

Re: Need help with mass effect 1 in windows 8

I've had no problems running the game under Win7 (retail disc install) or Win8 (EA/Origins install).

Didn't need any patch to get it running either time, although I did apply it both times before installing BDtS.

If a post solved your problem, click the "Accept as Solution" button.
If you want to answer someone's question, click the "Reply" button.
If you appreciated someone's post, click the "XP" button.

I'm a volunteer, not an EA employee, so I can't get you any deals.
And remember: It's just a game. So play nice.
