Mouse control problem for Mass Effect For Pc

I got a bit of a problem while i'm playing Mass Effect the very first game

I went to go configure my mouse and i'm having problems

it shows that it's there but when you go push your mouse forward

the camera would pan would look down

and when you pull the mouse back towards you the camera would pan would look up

and when I go to the configuration in the game it self that the invert mouse control to look up and down isn't there

is there a fix on this problem??

Go to Options, Settings, Input, toggle invert y-axis, Apply, enjoy!

here is the default layout in the default settings when it first installed

take a look at the axis emulation that would control the mouse and how it's setup and when I go turn on the invert I run into the same problem

this is from defaultinput.ini file from mass effect biogame configuration folder

so is there a fix to this problem of the mouse problem i'm having

Did you applied the changes in the in game menu?

Do you use manufacturer software like Logitech Gaming software for your mouse?

 

Also disable Steam or Origin overlay for ME1.

that I have and the keyboard and mouse is a combo pack that I bought from a store over a few years ago from Logitech and i'm running windows 10 and gone download the gaming software is out of the question since it's not really compatable at all with the newer os.. As far as steam and the other platform it's totally disabled

Please try to repair the game. (in Origin > my games > right click ME2 > Repair Game) (in steam  > right click at ME2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game cache.)

 

On what client did you buy ME1?
