Hello there!
I have a problem in the original Mass Effect where whenever I trsvel to Virmire whithin the system it won't load from the "traveling" screen. Whenever And when I go see if there a loading problem from my home screen I get a message box. What's said is "First 4 bytes read is zero from (next line) ..\BioGame\CookedPC\Maps\JUG\LAY\BIOA_JUG20_00_LAY>SFM". Does anyone know exactly what this means and how I can fix it? Thank you!

It's a corrupt file that causes the game to crash. Depending on which version you have, you can:
Origin: Repair the installation
Steam: Repair the installation ("verify integrity of the game cache")
DVD: Locate the file 'BIOA_JUG20_00_LAY>SFM' on the DVD and put it in the folder where it's now installed.
You could also just reinstall the game entirely.
If you need more help, specify which version of the game you have.

Is the game installed on the console's hard drive? If so, you probably have the same problem of data corruption and will need to reinstall.
