Mass Effect - Game Won't Begin.

Hi there guys!
 Odd problem here;
 I easily meet the minimum requirements for Mass Effect but when I start it, it'll load, then not do anything, after a minute or so I can 'play' it again. 

However it updates the tiem stamp as 'last Played : Today'

Any ideas?

So what does the game do after loading? Does it freeze or shut down? Can you reach the main menu or does the issue present itself before that?

Could you post your system specs, please?

My issue is that it doesn't even go to the main menu.  I click the "play" button on my library screen.  The "play" button grays out and the loading icon comes up for just a couple of seconds and then the "play" button brightens out again.  It never gets away from the libraries menu.  And the where I try to load it directly off the computer the only screen it gives me is to install the game, which also does absolutely nothing.

I have the exact same problem.\Under further investigation i get a message. Missing Required File "ssleay32dll".

Is there way to reolve this?

I have used the repair option, uninstalled/reinstalled etc.

Still get the same message.

Is this the issue where it claims to be syncing files, then just goes back to Origin?
