Purchased Mass Effect 1 through Origin yesterday, downloaded it and the game just won't launch.
Seems like a common problem looking at these forums... One 'solution' is found but that doesn't
work for me.
I'm trying to run the game (v1.02) as administrator and with compatibility mode (Windows XPSP3)
but Origin always intervenes and the game just won't launch after that. Switched of cloud sync as well
but that didn't help either. I can run other games fine through Origin (ME3/BF3 etc).
Kinda **bleep** this, I was hoping to finally play Mass Effect 1 today but I guess I will have to look at other
options now in order to do that. Good job EA I will think twice now before buying through Origin!
