Mass Effect 1 froze up, restarted and now Origin won't even open

Pretty much what the title says. I just recently installed all of the above and booted up ME1 for the first time and it froze up in the first 5 minutes while in dialogue. Restarted my computer and now Origin won't even start. No error messages or anything. Can't even uninstall Origin because there is a version already running that I can't end under my processes tab. Running Windows 7
