Hey,
I decided to reinstall Mass Effect for the first time I under Windows 10. I was able to play it fine for about an hour but now it crashes every 3-4 minutes. I have uninstalled it twice. Uninstalled and reinstalled Origin. Uninstalled and removed any remnants from the registry, updated my video drivers, checked to make sure it's up to date, attempted to start a new save, run it under as an admin and set compatibility mode to windows XP service pack 2 and still crashes. I never had a bit of trouble with it on windows 7. What else can I do?

@walrusfoxtrot1 issue was also solved by uninstalling "Plays.TV". See the other thread.

@walrusfoxtrot1 Hmm, can you try SP3 Compatibility mode rather than SP2? I suspect that won't have an effect, though.
Can you check the reliability monitor for a crash report related to the shutdown, and post the contents of the report?

Thanks.

Yep, that's a good point.
@walrusfoxtrot1 If you don't have Play.tv installed you can try restarting with a Clean Boot to check for other potentially interfering 3rd party programs.

You got me wrong, his problem was solved by uninstalling Plays.tv.

I've been dealing with this problem and bothering poor tech support people for over 4 days! Closing plays.tv (you don't even need to uninstall it) worked for me.
